And with that, Ray smacked his forehead. Oh, his pupil had much to learn about the ways of getting people together. Oh well. There was no taking it back now that it was out in the open.
Guy's blush couldn't have gotten any redder even if he wanted it to. GB's complaint was just the icing on the cake of that little embarrassing fiasco. He desperately wanted to say it, but the words eluded him like snow purposefully avoids snow obsessed people. Well, seeing as it was out in the open already... "Natalia, what I'm trying to say is that... I really..." No! Stop fumbling! he reprimanded himself. "I... Natalia, I love you. I just... I didn't want to say anything before because... well, before I probably couldn't have gotten this close to you without wanting to run all the way to Grand Chokmah." Guy chuckled. Oh, his fear had been quite bad back then. "But, the other reason was I was afraid you would reject me. You were so determined to... to be with Asch that I thought... oh, I'm just sounding stupid now, aren't I?" Guy asked, shifting his gaze to the ground after a moment and closing his eyes as he lowered his head. "You can take the fear out of the Guy, but you can't take away the awkwardness of trying to confess your feelings." he mumbled.

(ooc: I'm done with dying/Minecraft shenanigans for the time being. As fun as it is, I can't neglect roleplaying entirely! D: )
GB whimpered a little bit. He was sorry he had done wrong, though there wasn't much he could do to change it. Instead, he scratched his head in embarrassment, letting out a bit of a nervous laugh. "Better luck next time?" asked the setter with a bit of a shrug.
Natalia was surprised. That's what all his fumbling was trying to get across? Even when he was fumbling, he still had such a way with words. She closed her eyes and smiled. "That's all I need to hear," she said, still blushing profusely from Guy's confession. "In that case, I can't possibly reject you. I can't change the past." No matter how much she wanted to be with Asch, that wouldn't change the fact that he was dead. Even she had to move on; she thought she had come to terms with what had happened. She didn't know what else to say without fumbling herself, nor did she care. All that mattered was being with him. She edged closer to Guy; even though he was getting over his fear, she felt that it was necessary to take it slowly. No need to surprise the fumble master any more than he already was.
GB breathed a sigh of relief. Perhaps his impromptu yelling was only a minor setback in his training.

Ray just chuckled a little, landing on GB's head after a moment and petting his new friend. "Ah think ya did just fine. Next time, don't be so impatient." he teased.
She hadn't teased him. She hadn't rejected him. This revelation was enough for Guy to raise his head again and look at Natalia once more. For once, the blond nobleman was speechless. He honestly couldn't think of anything to say. Instead, plucking up what little bit of courage he thought he would need, Guy opted to plant a very small kiss on Natalia's cheek. His cheeks went scarlet from this action, inside he was panicking from being that close, but Guy didn't care. He'd at least gotten it out of his system. Guy pulled away after a moment, giving in to his fear and moving away slightly before smiling his usual, Guy-ish smile. "Boy, I'm glad Jade didn't stick around. He'd be teasing us to no end about this." he said at last.

GB responded with a huge, doggish smile. He was forgiven. Still lying where he was, he eagerly awaited that "next time."
Natalia's cheeks flushed. Guy really was getting courageous after all. She began to wonder whether or not this was just a dream. She hoped it wasn't; she was sure that it wasn't, but at the same time it all seemed so dream-like. "Indeed," she replied with a bit of a laugh, "He would never let us hear the end of it!"
GB stared at the two intently. He let out another sigh as he mumbled to himself that if they got any redder, they would be mistaken for tomatoes. He really was right after all; the "lovely couple" he had bumbled into really was a lovely couple after all, if he did say so himself.

"I can just imagine what he and Sync would have to say about this. Sync would mock us for all eternity. Jade... he'd just be Jade." Guy said. Oh, please don't let this be a dream. Please, please, please don't let this be a dream. he thought. It all felt so dream-like, but Guy knew it wasn't one. He'd been positive it was real the moment Peony had given him permission to come to the forest. Now they would just need to figure out a way out of the forest, get back to Malkuth and Kimlasca, and tell King Ingobert he had fallen in love with Natalia.
Little did they know, however, Jade hadn't left at all. He had been watching from behind a tree not all that far from the pair. Glasses gleamed as he pushed them back into their proper place and the Colonel let out a soft chuckle. Oh, he'd be sure to tease the two about this plenty at a later opportunity. And, with that, the Malkuthian Colonel turned heel and left for real.
Guy let out a soft, contented sigh. The day was seemingly perfect minus that little interruption from Jade earlier and GB bumping in to him. But even that he didn't mind all that much since he had taken a liking to the setter. Speaking of which...
"By the way, are you aware of any other places where people can live? I can't imagine it would be all that comfortable for GB and I to try and take up residence in the place you, Jade, and Sync are sharing." Guy said after a moment. Romantic air died about them shortly after that. It didn't matter, though. He'd said what he needed to say and it felt good. "I mean, I wouldn't mind sleeping on the floor or anything but I think it would be more to everyone's comfort if we lived close by one another instead." he added after a moment.

"I'm not aware of any other places where you could live, but I'm sure there are others out there. I just haven't gotten the chance to look around for any," Natalia responded. She hadn't thought to look for places to stay other than where she had been staying with Jade and Sync for the past few days; even though Sync was a handful and Jade was a tease, she had been concerned about them both after the battle in the fire swamp. Maybe it would be a good time to go back and check up on them now that the romantic air had died down. "But until you can find a place to stay, you're always free to stay with us," she offered. "I should probably be heading back anyway. I wonder how Jade and Sync are back at our place."
GB turned his head to his new friend. "So, what now?" he asked Guy. "I guess we're going home, but do we even know where our home is going to be?" Not that he cared where it would be anyway, just so long as it was as far away from that dreadful fire swamp infested with gigantic, unpleasant, horrid rats that he could have sworn thought he was their prey. "I'm ready to follow your lead, y'know." The setter nodded. "Because, I guess, you're my new master. Where you go, I'll gladly follow." He rose to his feet. That was enough lazing around and being Ray's apprentice for one day. It was clear that he'd get no more training done now that love was no longer in the air.

"Oh, I'm sure Jade and Sync are just fine. How you put up with them is beyond me, though. I guess it comes with being a princess. You need to have the patience to deal with that sort of thing." Guy teased. GB's mentioning that he was the dog's master came as a surprise to Guy. He had never really been anyone's master before. Not since he was six, at least. It felt strange hearing anyone refer to him as such. "And don't worry, GB. I'm sure we'll find some place for us to live. Hopefully it won't be all that far from where Natalia and the others are staying." Guy told him. Blue eyes fell on Ray after a moment. Where was the little firefly going to go? "What about you, Ray? Do you have anywhere to go?" Guy asked.
Ray shrugged in response. He really didn't have a set 'home' to speak of since he was just a little firefly and such matters didn't really concern him. He'd just taken to spending the nights in random trees tucked up in little piles of leaves he'd gathered. "Ah ain't got a set place ta stay, but it shouldn't concern y'all. Ah'm fine by maself out here. Y'all should worry 'bout yerselves." Ray told them.
Guy frowned. He didn't like the idea of Ray staying on his own, mostly because that was the kind of guy Guy was. No, he thought it would be better if Ray stayed with one of them. Of course, he'd wait and see if GB or Natalia suggested such a thing before saying anything.

GB's ears perked up. "Hey!" he barked out; he had an idea. "If you don't have a place to stay, you can always stay with me and Guy." His tail wagged. Wherever they were staying didn't matter, so long as they had a place to stay. The little firefly looked lonely, and he thought it would be a good idea for them to stick together anyway. It would certainly make the mentoring process much easier. A moment passed. "...Just a thought," he mumbled, the wagging of his tail slowing.
Natalia nodded. "I like that idea," she said. "You seem quite eager to have Ray around for some reason, and I'm sure he'll appreciate it. Won't you, Ray?" She turned to the firefly and then turned back to Guy. "What do you think? Is it all right if Ray stays with you, too?" she asked. It only seemed right to let them stick together, even though she had no idea what they were really up to.

Fluffy cried tears rolling her light golden cheeks and said :" I miss my pride and my parents ."
Fluffy added , but have a new familiy that lives in the forest not in the savannah she smiled to herself .

Wow, who knew GB was thinking exactly what he was thinking? Guy was glad for that, because he didn't want to leave Ray all on his own after the firefly had tried to help get him and Natalia together. At least, he thought that's what he and GB had been up to. At last, Guy got up and smiled another Guy-ish smile at GB and Ray. He was clearly pleased with the idea. "Sure Ray can stay with us, GB. We can't just let a friend stay all by himself, now can we?" Guy asked.
Ray was stunned. They actually wanted him to come with them? The little firefly had to admit that staying with someone would be better, and he wouldn't be lonely anymore if he did, so naturally he broke out into a little grin of his own. "Y'all wouldn't mind havin' me?" Ray asked.
"Of course we wouldn't! Anything's better than staying on your own, right?" Guy asked.
